Welcome to the Age Of The Flintlocks Webcomic.

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

Hello and welcome!

This initial draft of the Age of the Flintlocks Webcomic by John Paul Catton and Phill Evans has been posted on 7/5/8. The first nine pages of Chapter One “Moonlight, Murder & Machinery” have been posted with new pages being posted each week. This first chapter runs to twenty three pages with, we hope, many more to follow!

We would encourage any of our readers to tell us what you think about the strip so far, the characters, the writing, the art, whatever!  So if you have come through to Page Nine then skip back to the beginning and immerse yourself in the story so far!

Bristol Comic Convention

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

It would be FAR too grandiose to say that The Age Of The Flintlocks was launched at Bristol Comics Con, but I was there and I handed out about two hundred flyers to prospective browsers so I guess its as close as the poor wee strip is going to get!

If you were one of those people who received a small  flyer from me and have followed up by coming here to read the strip…I love you!  Please do make any comment you wish and let JP and I know what you think.   If you havearrived here by some other means then I love you too, I am nothing if not amenable in my affections ;)

I am currently working on page fifteen, all the others have been uploaded to this wonderful Wordpress doodad and will be posted live on wednesdays each week.

Further bulletins as events warrant!

I have no idea why, but page fourteen is refusing to show up here on the website. I have upgraded both Wordpress and Comicpress and added the bug fix from the comicpress site but still no luck….anyone have any ideas???

Ah!  There it is!  THANK YOU COMIC PRESS MANAGER!!!!
