Forward The Flintlocks.

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

I must apologise for the fractured nature of the uploading of recent episodes of Age Of The Flintlocks.  I wont inflict my woes on you but I can assure you that I am doing my best to resolve chapter one in planned & regular pages.  Once again I must stress that J.P holds no responsibility for the dlays…mea maxima culpa!

I have just drawn and inked pages 21 and 22 on paper and will be scanning these for finishing in Photoshop this weekend.  As they sort of say in TV land…. normal service will be defined as soon as possible.

On an unrelated note, could I suggest to the Constant Reader to check out Clockwork Comics by Jane Irwin? It is a strip which tells a fascinating and true story of a chess playing automaton set in the eighteenth century.  It is beautifully drawn and minutely researched and, well….go read it yourself!
